Are there adjustments as to how the boat sets on the lift. I understand that the lift should be level, but there should be adjustments as to how the boat sits on the lift.

Can you adjust the lift so the stern is lower then the bow? That is what I would try first.

Thanks, did not know it had a name, I guess you are never too old to learn something new. I never had anything with surge brakes until I got this unit. And with trial and error, I discovered it. So you cannot do this with disc brakes? Are disc brakes more efficient or just less maintenance?

There is nothing about boating that is cheap (except the quality). If Chap has it get it, because it will be the original, you will spend more time and money looking for a used one and it may not be as nice as yours. If you can find out who made it for Chap, you might be able to buy it direct...
