As a young boy in my mid teens, growing up on the river I had what was called a 16ft plywood Evinrude kit boat with a 25hp Evinrude motor that we would ski behind. (cyc can relate to this time era) So this guy pulls up to the small beach we were at and asked if we would like to ski behind his Lyman inboard. We had never skied behind an inboard. First off I was plucked up out of the water like you would pluck an apple off a tree. One thing I learned, you cannot swing the back of an inboard boat. So he makes his hard turn port, I pull hard and swing out, going how fast I don't haven't a clue. Next thing I know is I'm surfing on my back, arms and legs straight up in the air, I slowly loose momentum and sank back into the water. He left and we continued on with the rest of the day with no issues of falling. The next morning I could not move, and actually had rolled out of bed to my hands and knees.
