Chaparral 2011 264 Sunesta Volvo 8.1 GI-j randomly stalls. No sputtering just shuts down. Within minutes it restarts and runs great until it happens again. Any suggestions?

No experience with the diag tools but I did a search and amason has a few. Here is one of the lower priced ones that looked like it might help you and seemed affordable.

I believe for boats the there is no OBD2 port. So that tool will not work.
I looked into this year's ago and the software for your laptop and the needed cable was around $600. I think it was a CAN port off the engine computer that you tap into.
