Depth find transducer location

I have a new to me 2006 256ssi. Where is the depth finder transducer located?

Thru hull in front of the engine, starboard side if it was a factory install. Your sea water temperature sensor is also in that unit.

Great to hear your input. I've just installed VesselView in my 350Mag. I'm not sure if sea water temp can be viewed on my model, although it comes up as an option for viewing. Your thoughts???

Smart Craft has that input. Look to see if your depth transducer has 4 wires and that all 4 are landed into the digital Smart Craft harness. You should have a sea water temp input available.
