chaperral 310 signature leg failure

A leg on my chaperral 310 signature leg has gone. It was taken out and has to be completely rebuilt but we don't know state of other side leg. Its the prefab type one which apparently has been a problem. We dont want to fix it only for other to go. It has been suggested that we put in different legs both sides but this requires engines to come out. Has anyone had this problem.? Any suggestions how best proceed would be appreciated. Its a 2006 model boat

I assume its a Volvo XPD composite drive? They are problematic and not worth fixing.

What is the leg? Never heard that term in relation to boating.

Yes it is xpd composite type. What can be done then to get boat back in water..?

Installing 2 outboards has some appeal to me?.

U are out of luck with the XPD. replace with different drives...
