What are your plans in boating. For me it would be too small. For others too big or not the right options.

It all depends on where you boat. Where is that for you?

Virginia Tidewater Area James River and Chesapeake Bay.

I run the Detroit & St. Clair Rivers, with 23ft Chap ( not counting the swim platform as they do with the boats today) with no issues. The nice thing about running riveres is that you can always find a place to quickly hide, even if it means beaching her for safety. When I run Lake Erie, I watch the ski constantly, 5 miles off shore you have nowhere to hide. In my past experience, if it feels like someone opened the refrigerator door on you, you have about 20 minutes to run and hide. You can take your girl anywhere, just be aware of your surroundings at all times.
