Another ski vs tube attach point

Hi all, just bought a new to me chaparral 236 ssi. The boat has a ski tow eye on the back (hook type, not ring). The placard below it says for skiers only, not for towing, lifting, etc.

I believe "towing" in context is towing a boat, but can this thing handle a 2-3 person tube? I can't find any other attach point other than maybe the side cleats but the eye is the cleaner solution.

Can not say for sure but i would assume you could pull a tuber. 3 might be a bit much but 2 should be okay. My 2cents. A guess.

How is yours mounted? Are you bolted in more than one area, and how big are the bolts? Mine is a long pipe (about 12") that on the bottom is attached to a triangular bracket that has 2 bolts that are bolted through the transom.
And you could call a Chap Dealer.
