Finally an easy way to keep my bottom clean

She looks GREAT. Rain here today so pulled her out earlier today. Line was same ole line. Ceramic wax did not prevent the line or lessen the line but it sure was easy to wipe off. Cleaned right up. So, While no miracle cure it does help. I'll continue to use it.

Finally an easy way to keep my bottom clean

The line was worse last weekend when we pulled out. So we took her home and applied the 2nd coat. So far this weekend I see a line but not bad. It's hard to tell for sure until I pull her out. Will do that tomorrow. I expect it to be like the first time since there are two coats of the...

    Depth while underway

Wondering if you turn to the right then the left slowly if the depth would read? I had a four winns and it was that way due to placement of the transponder.

    Depth while underway

I do not think that is normal. Only way to fix would be to change the location of the pick up unit. So you know where it is on your boat?

    Depth while underway

From my experience, yes, normal. Depending on where the depth module sits in the boat, if when underway it does not have a uninterupted sight to the bottom you get that flashing reading. This can happen because air bubbles can stream under the boat when underway.

Finally an easy way to keep my bottom clean

I boat on the Ohio River. I trailer the boat each weekend. The most we stay in the water is 4 days. By then we normally have a nasty ole line of crud on the boat. Heck an hour after dumping in the water you could see the start of a line. Wax would help. And a few years ago we started...

2008 chaparral 236 Volvo SX prop questions

Good pic. Was that taken by a helicopter? Like you said no easy asnwer for a prop. Hopefully a shop will work with you trying one then another and let you zero in on what's best for your boat. To be on plane at 2300 rpm. Unheard of for me. 2800 to 3000 is lowest rpm to be on plane for...

    Subwoofer placement

Not familiar with your boats layout but I put a 10" JL Audio sub in the center of my rear passenger bench seat. Works fantastic there.

    2004 Chaparral Sunesta 252 Fuse/Breaker location

I'll reply some general info that you probably already know or doesn't apply to your boat. My boats have a push button reset switch below each of the light, blower, horn and stereo switch. I would guess if that was the case you would have noticed those but mentioning just in case. I had...

    Who's ready to go boating?

I feel lucky to be in my location. I have kayakers, and sail boats and big and small power boats, houseboats, jetskis, bass boats and more. Somehow we all share this portion of the Ohio river with the barge traffic and we do just fine. I had hopes of boating this weekend but weather is not...

Funny Picture Thread, Post em here.

The pic above has to be the extreme. I'm not sure if it's a fad or here to stay but at 40k for each of those engines plus the price of the boat the price is way out of range for 99% of the population.
