Wanted Good used seat

Hi I’m looking for a matching seat for my 2003 chaparral 215ss. I want to remove the passenger seat and replace with a matching captains chair

My 1st question is, why are you looking to do this.
We’re not fans of the back to back seat setup. Not enough leg room to sit someone backwards and use the rear seat. And the seat isn’t tall enough to see over the dash very well
Also we need new carpet so now is the time to swap the seat before the flooring is cut.

Needs are not expensive, wants can be very expensive. That being said I have probably done more retro fitting to my girl then anyone here.
I ran across these 2 posts, they are not yours, and it will cost another $300 to have them shipped, and they will have to be recovered to match or come close to your interior. I'm not saying that your 11yr. seat is not out there (I looked and it looks like they offered a captain's chair for the port side). If you found one, you probable still would have to recover it because of condition or color. I am not there, so I do not know what you have to work with, and how handy you are.Take in mind that it will not look like the helm seat, but it will have the right pattern and color package.and same condition. So first I would see if I can separate the 2 seats, and see what the exposed backs look like. If I could live with that (you can always hang a beach towel over the back) then I would figure out a way to put a bottom on the seat and mount a pedestal to it. They make a lot of nice adjustable pedestals. You have to keep in mind that you are trying to be able to see over the windshield and maybe gain a little more floor space. I would not do anything that would hurt the integrity of the seats, that way if and when you would sell her, you can put the back to back seats together again. I have more time than money, so I would try it the poor mans way, and make it work with what I have.
Or forget it and live with what you have, or get a boat with 2 captains chairs.
