Hey everyone, just looking for some feedback. I just bought a 2025 Chaparral 21 ssi with a 200hp. The boat came with the velocity tower. Being an ob, I obviously dont have the ski/tow eye however, I was going to order the ski/tow bar. I have younger kids and they seem to want to tube more than ski or wake board. The dealer made a point to tell me that the ski/tow bar is not made to tow a tube and would void any warranty if damage is caused to the hull/transom. Pic of the ski tow bar attached. I realize Chaparral is just trying to cover their rear end with the warning label however, just wondering if anyone on here tows tubes with this bar and what your thoughts are. Thank you!

I have never seen a ski tow bar like that. Technically, it seems low enough that you would be able to tow a tube with it. However a tube create much more friction and pulls harder on the craft. With that bar being as it is it might create stress cracks or worse in your boat. So, if it were mine I'd follow the dealers advice on this one.
