October Boating

We are still in the low 90's but once the calendar turns to Oct a lot of people stop going out. Only a small number of people out yesterday - going to enjoy the serenity as much as possible before the weather starts dropping. Though with our weather this year, it may be 90 come Dec.

Up here in Buffalo it is definitely not 90! hahaha. We are lucky if we are seeing upper 60's. Due to the upcoming forecast along with the marina closing early next week, tomorrow and Friday will be my last days of operation in Lake Erie. If the weather improves between now and Nov. 1st, I may put it in the Erie Canal for a run or two. But the season is finish for this year. It has been a pretty good season this year. Engine is literally humming along. I already did my winterization shopping so I'm all set to change the oils and winterize the engine.

Similar weather here. Highs in the 60's. Not what we call boating weather.
Hoping for a touch of Indian Summer before I have to winterize. Chances for that are not looking real good at this point.
