Made it to the show. It was very well done again. Nice escape from winter. It was almost at the end of our journey when I found the Chaparral display.
The dealer had 1 boat, a 21ft SSI, I asked him why. He said that he had more that he was going to bring to the show, but he sold them all.
It would be my guess that with his inventory depleted, and a prepaid commitment to the show, he no choice and brought what he had.
Came with a custom trailer and disc brakes. List price around 88,000, show price about 70,000. She was pretty, and the only boat in the show that did not have some sort of diamond plate design in the upholstery. I did buy one gadget, it is a lubricant , I will know in the spring if it works. A little bottle that will last (me a lifetime) for only $7.00, why not.
