I swapped the battery over the weekend and now my motor trim doesn't work. Everything else does. I put all the connections back the way they came off. Is there a fuse panel? Thanks for any help!
Assuming you verified full battery charge and battery in the "on" position - I would try the next steps to troubleshoot:
Do you hear the solenoid when the trim switch is pressed? If not, then bad solenoid and or wire connections.
Also, check fuses - on mine the panel is located by the dual battery switch
Use a jumper wire to test the trim motor. Unplug the quick-disconnect plug between the motor and solenoid (if one is provided) or disconnect the two wires where they connect to the solenoid or relay. If the motor doesn't work then the motor is the issue. If the motor does work, then it's more than likely a faulty solenoid or relay, bad connections.
