Bravo 3 boating in salt water

I only boat in salt water. You just need to change your anodes. I never did flush after owning that boat for 9 years with no problems. But I did have a closed cooling system. Even on a lake I did not want raw water going though the block. A closed system always has AF in the block, no air - no...

Going into 2nd year of storage - SUNESTA 244

If it was me and I have installed one. I would add a Racor fuel filter system. https://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|311|2349059|2837510&id=133761# But a 30 micron filter. This will help remove and any water in the tank. Its short money and added insurance for years later.

    Skipped Canada/Erie Canal instead

Sounds like a good trip! Thats why I like being in salt water. Last year we went to Sag Harbor N.Y. and this year we went to Martha's Vineyard. We also spent a 3 day weekend in Gloucester MA for the schooner fest.

    Fuel Sending Unit issue

I would agree with Denny. Keep in mind that the fuel will move around the tank underway. More so below half giving you inaccurate readings. To a point, this is normal.

    Little Boat

That's great! I have a 9 foot Highfield with a 20hp that I take every where with me. Yes, if you need to go ashore you need her. I love the trim tabs and I understand the length.

    INSTRUMENT PANEL IS DIMLY LIT

I would first check the voltage. Are the lamps seeing 12 volts? Are the connections clean? If all the lamps are dim you may have a bad ground. After that than I would bypass the rheostat.

    Fresh Water Tank Odor

I installed this on my boat. Every spring I do treat the tank. https://www.aquastardistributors.com/product/seagull-iv-designer-series-x-1f/ This filter is so good it took the dye out of the AF.

On the Microwave, on mine if you opened the door you could see 2 hold down bolts or screws.

    broken faucets

I had a 2011 290. Just like any other faucet, there should be a big nut below. Undo the water lines and remove the nut. At least that's how mine was. I installed a better one but make sure it will fit. What I mean is, the gally bowl is small. If the new faucet is too big it might shoot water on...

I think your right. But to find an original will be tuff.

    Stalling

I believe for boats the there is no OBD2 port. So that tool will not work. I looked into this year's ago and the software for your laptop and the needed cable was around $600. I think it was a CAN port off the engine computer that you tap into.

    2012 327SSX water in bilge

After 10 years, the bellows should be replaced if not already done. Another thing could be the air intake.

GPS tracker for boat - How to secure against theft?

Sounds great, but why would you not want to monitor the rest of your boat? As in, if someone enters your boat?

GPS tracker for boat - How to secure against theft?

Go to SirenMarine.com Could not be happier. Monitors location, batteries, pumps, doors, high water alarm, shore power and more. Battery back up built in. Made for marine use. Gives up to the second location. No delay. We'll maybe 20 or 30 seconds to relay it to you.
