Hey guys and gals, it's that time again. Here I am with hat in hand.

This is the one time each year I ask for help with forum costs. As you might guess, costs have gone up and unfortunately donations have been sparse. I hope we can change that trend.

GOLD Site Supporter $100 a year. ( .28 cents a day.)

Super Site Supporter $50 a year. ( .14 cents a day.)

Site Supporter: $20 a year ( .05 cents a day)

Thanks Denny!!!! Your support is greatly appreciated. So nice to have a little help with the bills.

Guys, Denny and I alone cannot keep this forum running. I have a cooking forum, a tractor forum and an off topic forum. The members on them help support the forums and pay a good portion if not all of the bills for the upcoming year. Boating is an expensive hobby. I cannot understand why Denny and I are the only supporters. I don't get it.
Is it something I am doing wrong?
What else could I do to earn some support?
We are way to small for advertisers to be interested.
This forum will not run forever on no funds. If the forum is not appreciated or wanted by the members then why should we waste our time and money keeping it going?
I'm very frustrated about this whole situation and do not have an answer.
I would appreciate any input that might help

OR .... maybe one of you would like to take the reins and buy the forum from me. I would sell it as close to cost as possible.
Fees include:
Annual domain name fee
License fee plus fee for yearly support.
ISP fee for CPU cycles, storage, daily backups and 24 hour uptime support.

I very seldom will voice an opinion, I usually just watch or walk away, But this time I think that I should (put my 2 cents in). If any group should help, it is us Chap people. They all cried when their forum went to crap, I too was a member. I jumped ship while the ship was starting to go down.They had lost their filtering system and in came the garbage, and there was some dissension amongst some of the members. For me it was no longer a fun place to go. And we have our own spot. It's not about wanting help, it's needing help. How much are you willing to pay someone for the answers you get for free here. Even the cost of a Mcdonalds Happy Meal a year will help. This is for everyone that said they are a member. This is my forum too, what can I do to keep it? And where do I go when it is gone.
