I currently have an out dated depth finder that has a thru hull transducer( hole in the hull) I am looking to replace it with a new system that uses the in hull transducer( shoots thru the hull , NO HOLE) any one have any experience with these, I have heard there are issues with setting them...

Several members of the local sail club have sent their main sails off to different companies to have them cleaned/repaired with mixied results. overall not very impressed with the finished product, took for ever, etc. any one here know of a loft that does exceptional work AND turnaround time...
