ELKHART, Ind. -- Nautic Global Group has rolled out two promotions designed to increase sales at the winter and spring boat shows in an effort to help dealers move product, it reported in a recent statement.

The Spend it Wisely Sales Event offers a rebate on boat and engine packages purchased through the boat brands associated with Nautic Global Group’s Godfrey Marine, which include Sanpan, Aqua Patio, Sweetwater, Parti Kraft, Hurricane, Atlantic, and Polar Kraft. Up to $1,500 will be taken off the retail invoice at the time of the sale plus new boat buyers will receive a five-year, bow-to-stern warranty on any 2008 or 2009 product. The company said additional rebates and promotional pricing are being presented on specific models.

The company also introduced the You’ve Been Upgraded sales event for consumers interested in Rinker boats. This promotion offers a selection of free upgrades to consumers, such as hard tops, cherry wood flooring, boat covers and more. In addition, boat buyers who purchase Rinker boats during this promotional period will receive complimentary upgrades to existing warranties, bringing their engine and component warranties up to five years.

“We’re delighted to provide our dealers with additional sales tools that will help to position our products even better in the marketplace and stimulate interest and urgency during the boat show season,” said Steve Tadd, Nautic Global Group’s director of marketing and NMMA’s former Grow Boating director. “Our goal is to help our dealers move product now. There is no better use of the redistributed Grow Boating funds than those that will assist dealers right now, and provide measureable and trackable results.”

Nautic Global Group said it is aggressively promoting this campaign to current and past owners as well as prospective boat buyers through an integrated marketing campaign, which includes a significant interactive marketing component. Redistributed Grow Boating funds are being used to supplement the cost of the advertising, the rebates and the option and warranty upgrades.
