I hope you'll join up.
Thanks,

Hi, I'm Jim. Like Jerry I don't have a boat right now. I'm retired and my wife only has a few years left to work. Our retirement place is close to a large lake here in Virginia and the boat will come when we move.

Hey everyone! I'm Brian! I own a 2007 princecraft fishing boat. It has a 40hp yamaha, subfloor, side drive, livewell. Perfect boat for the type of boating I do.......some fishing, pulling the kids on the tube, just going for a short ride around the lake. Works for me!
Welcome everyone!
Fred, sure you can put up your avatar. If you have trouble let me know, I haven't increased the size for them yet. I'll get a round to it.

Hiya Bethany. Don't worry I'm boatless as well, but we have a major difference. I probably won't get one due to the other obligations I have around the homestead.

We even bought an SUV with the intention of pulling a boat behing there someday. I am sure that as soon as he sees Crum's presentation he will be fully sold on the idea of being a boat owner. I guess I just need to be patient. :yuk:

It would be nice to see where your from also. Type of power ,type drive, etc.
sometimes it`s easier to walk you thru the troubleshooting instead of typing back and forth and leaving a critical part out. such as having a no spark condition and leaving off:
lanyard switch , tach, harness plug, etc. because sometimes we assume your thinking like us.
Let`s all hope for a Safe Boating season in `08 and make sure we carry the required equipment and then some , to go out and return safely.
Might want to consider something that is done with pilots

Hi David,
Welcome to Net Boat Talk. Congrats on the new boat. Sure sounds like a nice one. 276 is a lot of boat. What motor do you have in it? Be sure to share some pics when you get a chance. We all like looking at boats.
11 days! You sure are closer to getting it wet than I am. Lucky duck!
One word of advise; when docking or close to anything else, take it as slow as you possibly can. you'll get the hang of it and no harm will be done. Slow is the way to go (until you are on the open water).

Hi everyone, I’m Aric and am currently in Colorado Springs. I have a 1993 Correct Craft Ski Nautique. It’s been a long winter here and I can’t wait to get on the water. I was thinking of pulling the boat out of storage and prep it for the summer but then it decided to snow here yesterday (6 inches worth). So maybe next week it will be warmer.
Hi Trigger! Glad you found us here on Net Boat Talk, signed up and did an intro. Rep points for you!
My Son in law is a correct craft fanatic (crums here on NBT). He has the 89 model and my son bought another 89 model a couple of years ago. Both have them set up with the towers, speakers lights etc. Quite a set up. Pics in the pics thread. They are like the corvette of ski boats. They handle awesome! And hold their value.

We do not have pics from last year but promise some this year. My daughter is heavy in to photograph and i'll make sure she gets pics. We have been land locked this year so far we broke the trailor last fall putting the boat on and have to get it welded before we hit the lake. just untarped her tonight and shes a dirty pig. me and my daughter spent three hours cleaning her up. We are dyeing to get her wet. I'm taking tommorow off from work to get her fired up and ready to go, it's been a too long of a winter. It looks like memorial day weekend is the first weekend for us because of all the graduations we have to attend. please check out our boat pics on our album.
