For those of us who drain the oil every season ,make sure the
fiber washer is in place when you put the drain plug back in.
This customer drained and refilled his in the fall but never double checked
it springtime.Went out for a trip and heard some clanking . Come to find
out the lower was empty of oil.It appears the fiber washer was discovered on his oil pump.This caused the lower unit to drip it`s way empty.
