What have you done to your boat

since you purchased it.

I got mine 4 years ago from my best friend. He up sized to a 293 cobalt
I than got start on my dream. To have a great running boat.

Pulled the engine and rebuilt it and also upgraded to dual carbs
pulled out-drive nad bell housing and rebuilt both.
new carpet and minor repairs to the floor
remove all vinyl and put on all new.
CD player, dept finder.gauges.
bottom paint and made a cover for it
replace steering cables and 14x21 prop
and a lot of waxing to bring back the shine.


thus the name DREAMSEEKER

went i got her wot 20mph now on calm water 42 mph. Great on gas also
handles great and the hole shot is amazing. My friend cant believe it is the same boat he bought 20 some years ago.
Just wondering what others have done to improve or to bring life back to an older boat or newer boat

Rebuild 3 engines, three transmissions, three gimbals, three drives, GPS, extra fire extinguisher systems and bottles, batteries, pumps, rebuild the anchor locker and install an electroplished stainless anchor, install all new speakers and radios, and lotsa cleaning.

man i will bet when you open her up it brings tears to everyone on board eyes. I have been at 85 on the water and it scared to hell out of me. Cant amagin what your top speed is

Let's just say we hit 104 gps with three very tired engines.
