20 HP Honda outboard, less than 20 hours total. At low idle, in gear, this thing will vibrate the boat so bad that you think the fillings in your teeth are going to fall out. The owner is strictly a trolling Muskie fisherman, so low idle is usually where the motor runs for hours. It shakes so bad you see ripples in the water coming from the hull all around the boat.
One dealer said they all vibrate at low idle and it may work out after the 20 hour break in period. Then eluded that the selling dealer did not do the prep work correctly. The selling dealer is 3 hours away and looked at it, connected his water supply and announced he saw no problem. It doesn't do it unless in gear, more or less under load. In neutral it's not that bad.
What gives?
