T have a 2003 tracker panfish. While fishing, my leg hit the switch and broke off the key. I swaped out the ignition switch and must have crossed a wire. When I start the boat, the starter turns on in the on position and to get the starter to turn off (runs with the motor running) I have to turn the motor off. Any suggestions? I need a color coded wiring diagram and dont know where to look.
Thanks

I do not know the answer but give me a day or so and I'll look around for a wiring diagram. With luck ouru resident boat doctor will check in before then and have an answer for you.

Here is what I found so far. Looks like a pic or more info on your setup would help us be able to provide better input. In the mean time this 'might' get you there.

I have a 2003 Bass Tracker Panfish 16. The ignition switch has the key push in choke. There are seven prongs on the switch and six wire loops to be attached. If I could find a color coded wiring diagram..........I think I could do it.
Thanks

Glad to hear it's fixed though. What did you have to do to fix it?

Hi Doc, guess it`s boating season already, lot`s of cracked blocks on startup this year.guess hearsay is better than a manual.
